A Night of Honour and Reflection

The inaugural Black‑Tie Dinner hosted by the Pacific Islands Regimental (PIR) Veterans League marked a historic occasion for the Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) and its veteran community. The event celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Royal Pacific Islands Regiment (RPIR), a cornerstone of PNG’s military heritage, and provided a platform to address critical issues affecting veterans and active service members.
